Specialized Pre-School Dance Programs
Bright Moves is our specialized pre-school division of Clarke Dance Productions. We have carefully designed and crafted this age appropriate dance curriculum for our youngest dancers. This rewarding dance program is geared towards dancers ages 18 months to 5 years and features three unique age divisions from babies to toddlers!
Three Unique Programs:
Baby BopPers
Ages 18 - 23 months

This class is a dancer and caregiver class! Our baby boppers will move, groove and explore alongside their caregivers. This is the perfect introduction to dance, movement and music for your little one. Our carefully crafted curriculum allows them to develop their imagination, motor patterns, and social skills all while having the comfort of their caregiver with them. We integrate imaginative play with music and movement explorations to introduce your child to the amazing world of dance! This program is offered in 12 week sessions and offers an easy transition into the Tiny Tots programming for dancers turning 2!

Tiny tots
Ages 2 - 3 years

Our Tiny Tots classes are a wonderful next step OR first step in any young dancers introduction to dance. Our specialized toddler dance program utilizes and emphasizes props, imaginative games, age appropriate skill building, fun instructional music, and social skill building. This program is an all encompassing class that introduces little tots to the wonderful world of dance by dabbling in multiple dance styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hop and acro. Throughout this carefully crafted program dancers will be set up with an exceptional dance foundation. Our Tiny Tots finish their season with a performance at our year end recital!

Bright Stars
Ages 4 - 5 years

The Bright Stars program is designed with the growing dancer in mind! Perfect for beginners or graduates of our Baby Boppers or Tiny Tots programming, our Bright Stars classes begin to introduce dancers to more styles of dance! Combo style and stand alone classes are offered in a variety of styles such as ballet, jazz, tap, acro and hip hop. There are so many great classes to choose from! In continuing to utilize our specialized curriculum for 4-5 year old dancers we strive to keep dancers engaged, inspired, and having fun with different theme explorations throughout the season! Our Bright Stars finish with a performance at our recital.

Highly Qualified Staff
Created and run primarily by our Artistic Director and Owner, Abigail Clarke, our Bright Moves programming is specially designed to provide dancers with everything they need to have an incredible start to their dance journey. Our Bright Moves educators are all highly educated and qualified adult instructors and they will provide quality dance and arts education to your little one. With extensive experience and education in the field of dance education, pedagogy and children's development, our staff are ready to give your child the greatest dance experience possible.

Age And Skill Appropriate Content
We have carefully crafted this curriculum to set your child up for success right from the start! We introduce age appropriate skills, and emphasize proper skill building throughout this program so that dancers are really learning to dance, all while having an amazing experience. We utilize props, themed lessons that children can relate to, and interactive imaginative dance exercises to help keep our youngest movers engaged, stimulated and LOVING dance class!

We want all of our Bright Moves dancers to find the joy, and happiness that comes along with starting their dance journey! We make every class rewarding and FUN for our dancers. We utilize up to date (age appropriate!) music, activities, end of class rewards and an amazing positive dance environment.

How many dancers are in your Bright Moves pre-school classes?We cap all of our Bright Moves pre-school classes at 12 dancers to ensure appropriate teacher to student ratios for the best learning experience and one-on-one attention!

How do I register?You can register for our Bright Moves classes by clicking on the "register now!" button on any of the Bright Moves program pages.

Do the Bright Moves classes participate in recital?Yes! The Bright Moves classes in the Tiny Tots & Bright Stars programs participate in our year end recital! 12 week sessions do not participate in recital.

Is there a costume associated with this program?If you are registered in the Tiny Tots or Bright Stars programs, your dancer will pariticpate in the year end recital and wear a costume on stage (additional costume fee does apply!). If you are registered in the Baby Boppers program there is no costume or performance associated with this 12 week session class.

How are fee payments structured?We collect fees on a bi-monthly basis. For more information on fees please get in touch with us to be sent our comprehensive info package!

Can I come with my dancer into class?Our Baby Bopper classes are designed to be taken with a caregiver for age 18-23 months. Moving into our Tiny Tots and Bright Stars classes we have structured and designed these classes to be dancer only! Our staff have so many amazing tips and tricks to get students feeling comfortable and excited to head into class without their parent. While sometimes it can take a few weeks to get comfortable, before you know it your dancer will be confidently entering class with their peers! We also feature CCTV so we can live stream our dance classes to the TV in our lobby. This way you can see all the wonderful and exciting things your young dancer is learning in class.
