Nicole Allison

Nicole has always had a natural passion for dance, which she started at the age of eight. She began dancing competitively a year later throughout Canada and the United States, achieving many awards including First Overall Jr. Soloist. Her training consisted of many genres of dance including jazz, tap, ballet, acro, hip-hop, lyrical, and contemporary.

Nicole graduated from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology where she was a member of the UOIT Ridgeback Varsity Dance Pak for three years, and was awarded Dance Team Freshman Athlete of the year. Along the way, Nicole expanded her love of performing to the theatre where she was a principal dancer in the Oshawa Little Theatre's production of Glee.

For the last 10 years Nicole has been teaching throughout the Durham Region, earning many overall and special awards for her choreography with her Mini and Junior dancers. Nicole has graduated from the ADAPT Teachers Training Program earning her Certification in both Tap and Jazz, at the junior, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Nicole is very excited to share her passion for dance with her students here at CDP!
